All signs point to the 2.10 firmware update hitting PlayStation 3's tomorrow and it's set to include improvements to the consoles Blu-Ray and media viewing capability.
Blu-Ray support will get 1.1 profile support, which sort of keeps the PS3 at the top of the Blu-Ray player stack. Sony will also add DivX and WMV support.
DivX support, however, is sadly limited in a few ways. File size is limited to 2GB, which shouldn't prevent too many files from being played. DivX 3.11 or later is supported and XviD is left out in the dark.
Even though Sony announced DivX support before Microsoft the PS3's capability is less than the 360's.
Also, the update will allow users to change their voice, which will probably get old after about 2 minutes.
