Microsoft promised that the Xbox would have IPTV (Internet Protocol Television), but Sony has beaten them to the proverbial punch...at least in Korea.
According to The Korea Times, KT (Korea's biggest telecom operator) and Sony will "launch an internet-based TV service in November that runs on the PlayStation 3 game console."
That's a pretty huge selling point for the system, eh, folks?
No one was willing to disclose the price or any more details, and no announcement of any other country getting the service has been made, but, as always, we'll let you know more when we know more.
