At E3, Sony took over the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and, after pimping its games for a while, the company introduced the world to its new motion controller -- a two stick prototype that offers one-for-one control on the screen.
Today, GamesIndustry.biz posted an interview with SCEE President and CEO Andrew House that contains all the stuff we knew -- spring 2010 release, no price point as of yet, Sony isn't worried about Wii MotionPlus or Natal, etc. -- as well as a comment to the idea of bundling the controller with the PS3 one day.
"It's possible, but Spring is a long way away," he said.
Other interesting tidbits include House saying that motion tech is "one of the essentials" to the PS3's 10-year life cycle and that the team has been working on this idea since it began developing the original EyeToy.
