Fair world's largest video game, E3, this year has become the stage for the battle at breakneck starring the two consoles next generation market highlights. PS4 and Xbox One faces are face to face for the first time since they were announced as contenders for the title of best device of the eighth generation.
Throughout the event, have been revealed new data from both platforms, and although there are still a few months so we can have them at hand to tinker with them and make a judgment as expected, we can compare their technical characteristics, or at least those we know in both cases.
In this post we show a comparison between face to face PS4 and Xbox One, because we know that time is running out for Christmas and now you should be pretty clear which device you are going to ask the Kings, do not you think?
I would have to say PS4 at the moment. I have yet to try out the Xbox One, so I would have to say I prefer the PS4 over the xbox. I did however have an Xbox 360 last gen and I loved it.
I'm an XBox One fanboy, and love everything about it, but I can't deny that the Playstation 4 has its share of plus points. If I were to be forced to choose owning only one of the two consoles, I would go for the Xbox One.
Personally, I went for PS4. I chose it because I already have a PS+ subscription so I already get some benefits for PS4 because of it. Plus I've been fairly happy with Playstation's library of games throughout the years. I like Sony's exclusive titles more than what Microsoft (currently) has to offer. (Even Nintendo I'm hard pressed to find more than a few titles that I care about. Basically Smash Bros, Metroid and maybe a Legend of Zelda are it for their home consoles.) And I'm pretty confident that Sony will continue to produce new and different games. Sure they'll have existing franchises like Uncharted or Killzone, but they'll try new things like The Order: 1886.
Though if Microsoft tapped some more of their IPs this could be a bit of a different story. (They have both Mechwarrior and Perfect Dark. And while those two titles alone wouldn't be enough, if they add that to Gears of War and Halo then it looks at least a bit more convincing for me. )
Also I like the way the Dualshock 2-4 feel versus the Xbox controller. (Perhaps just because I have smaller hands so Sony's controllers fit more comfortably into my hands.)
I also have a hard time forgiving Microsoft for what they tried to pull with their original Xbox One plans (aka DRM-box). I know they may have apologized and promised not to do that. But I still can't help but worry that they haven't forgotten and are just going to wait and try sneaking parts in somewhat more slowly. (So this way people don't fight back as much. Or they get used to one change before they introduce the next they want.)
xbox one! why? because i wanted it first then later on i would work my way to ps4 becasue i think both will have the best games like last of us on ps4 and project overdrive on xbox one!!!
