There was no doubt in anybody's mind that this system is going to be powerful. The new console will be more closely to a PC than to a standard gaming console. ​Weird, I thought that the MS Xbox was the one heading that direction. The CPU will be x86 and 8GB of RAM. Thinking about it, that is actually low end for PC standards. Anyways they showed some videos and tech demos of the system but the actual console was nowhere to be seen. The controller is a ...... guess it......wait......think harder......here it comes..... ready? Dual Shock 4!!! Like WOAH! Nobody saw that coming...... >_> They showed off TV play for Vita users but not giving it much importance. There is still way more info to come but so far I'm not impressed, HECK, my wife said that if the presentation was half decent SHE would buy it. Guess I'm not getting a PS4 for now XD.

That isn't low end... It's an 8-core CPU with 8 gigs of memory. The video card has gddr5 ram as well. The system is pretty high end. X86 means nothing. It's just a little endian CPU. Probably made by AMD.

It seemed pretty impressive from what I've read, far better social networking than seen on the Wii U, watching your friends play, and the console becoming a server for playing your games on a Vita, (which I must say is a pretty great cross-platform strategy, and not to mention a reason to actual get one of those things.) Now the thing about this console which will probably turn off customers is a price tag, which comes with such technology.

Ability to play games while you're downloading them and a dedicated sharing button for sharing pictures and videos (?) Will be great for YouTubers..
