SEGA has pulled the plug on the PSP version of Thor: God of Thunder.

A company spokesperson confirmed the news to IGN this morning but could not provide an explanation behind the game's cancellation.

The spokesperson also stated a 3DS version of the game will now ship this May in addition to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and Nintendo DS versions.

nice.

this pretty much shows that developers are favoring the 3DS over PSP.
They would get more sales for PSP at the moment though. There are only going to be 4 million 3DS's at launch, and the games are more expensive. I like the 3DS, but it's probably harder to develop on because of the 3D. Also, they should stop making movie games. They are almost never good.

they must believe the game wouldn't work out for pulling it from PSP and putting it on the 3DS.
