PSP Phantasy Star Portable

So, what do you guys think about the new PSP game Phantasy Star Portable?

I recently got the game and it's pretty fun, but I wish there was global-wifi rather than ad-hoc (no one uses a PSP near me).

Of course, I could use the PSP Kai Link to forward my ad-hoc connection to other players, but that means I cannot play with others without a computer.

Anyway, what do you guys think about the game?

I remember I tried out a Phantasy Star game for CPU during its beta testing quite some time ago and remember it to be quite fun and unique.

How is this one? Is it like a MMORPG?

I'm currently playing phantasy star universe for the PS2 and so far I have enjoyed it. to answer your question SoS, I believe the game can be played as both as a MMORPG and just a regular (offline) RPG game.

while playing this game I have found it's battle system similar to the .hack (video game series) battle system.

Well, most of the Phantasy Star series has great online play; however, like I said above, the PSP does not have global wifi play. You have to use ad-hoc through the PSP Kai Link (which allows ad-hoc games to be played globally).
