Over the few weeks, the air between the two battle royale giants has been quite thick due to the numerous claims of copyright infringement. This lead to the entire BR community to be split down the middle, one half in favor of PUBG, while the other backing up Fortnite with claims stating that Fortnite is a game of its own. The battle waged on but it seems the war has been lost as PUBG Corp has just withdrawn its lawsuit against Epic Games.

They acting like they can be the only one who can invent the whole 'Battle Royale' concept.
It does but this is a high profile suit that was clearly filled in spite of the success of Fortnite and the comparative failings of PUBG.
