When it came to the Nintendo Direct tonight, everyone knew a Super Smash Bros fighter would be revealed. I'm sorry who?

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS! I'm so happy I can't even put it into words. Like, when coming up with ideas for who could be the next DLC, they slipped my mind completely because I lost all hope of another Xenoblade rep. I think I found my new secondary or thirdary main.

Ahh, still haven't played that, not sure if I want to.
You should. It's an amazing game with an amazing story. I love Xenoblade Chronicles 1 to death, but I love this one even more. And not for the reasons you think. The story is just absolutely amazing and the world is beautiful.

hrmmm, how bad is the grinding? I couldn't finish the first one because I was way too under level and had no desire to grind to finish the final battle.

Actually, it's not bad all. So, one of the main mechanics is that you don't get exp normally from doing quests. You get exp from fighting enemies and exp for every location you find like in XBC1. When you do quests, all the exp accumulates and if you stay in an inn, you can trade all that exp for levels. So in likelyhood you're going to do a good majority of the quests anyway because it's not as bad as in XBC1. So after a while you can go from level 30 to level 45, maybe even higher. Heck, there's so much to do in the game you can go through it without leveling up in an inn. Inns just make you OP, which is nice.
