A flaming squirrel fell from the sky and immolated a Bayonne, New Jersey woman's car yesterday, police said.
The ingenious little fellow was apparently gnawing on some powerlines above Lindsey Millar's 2006 Camary. He chewed through the wire, was set on fire, and fell directly onto the car and into the engine block. The car burst into flames.
"[Squirrels] are always coming around here, chewing through the garbage," Tony Millar, the victim's brother said. "It's something to laugh about once she has a new car," he said. "It's not funny yet."
