SCEA Producer Greg Phillips announced on the PlayStation Blog today that the Vita version of Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault will launch in January of 2013.
Full Frontal Assault combines the shooting, platforming, and canoodling of the previous Ratchet games but adds a tower defense element for additional strategic possibilities. The PlayStation 3 version of Full Frontal Assault will still launch as planned on November 27th, 2012.
Phillips noted that the first DLC pack for Full Frontal Assault, the Mini-Boss Skin, will be made available to gamers that purchase Full Frontal Assault on PS3 for free to thank them for their patience.
Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault is a cross-buy, cross-save, and cross-play game developed by Insomniac. Tin Giant is currently handling the Vita port.
