Ubisoft has announced that Rayman Legends will be coming to PC on the same date it's available on consoles.
The long-delayed platformer will now be available on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Wii U on August 30 in Europe and September 3 in North America.
Rayman Legends was originally meant to be a Wii U launch title, but managed to evoke the ire of fans when it was repeatedly pushed back again and again, with it eventually being announced that the game would no longer be a Nintendo exclusive due to sales concerns, and wouldn't be released until September 2013.
This in turn led to the game's creator Michel Ancel joining co-workers in a protest about the decision, requesting that the Wii U version be released in February as was originally planned, seeing as work on it was essentially complete. Thankfully, we heard last month that the delay hasn't been in vain; 30 new levels have been added to the title as a result of the situation.
