I'm currently playing through Yellow right now, just got it a half an hour ago. It's so great to relive some of my childhood.

You catch specific kinds of glitched Level 1 Pokemon, then get a tiny bit of experience, then they level up to 100 instantly. You can also use it to get Mew!

I am not sure in the slightest! I've heard that it's loading in the "wrong" areas or something to that effect, I haven't done the deep dive yet.

I bought all three, currently nuzlocking Yellow. Idk why but I feel like my Pokemon survive with 1HP way too much, guess I'm just lucky
