Reggie Wants More Wiis for America

Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime recently stated that Nintendo of America was seeking a larger portion of manufactured Wiis in order to better match consumer demand. "As we look to the future, the decisions that are being made by the executive committee of Nintendo are to put the hardware where it will essentially sell out the fastest and where it will reach the consumer the fastest," he said.

Unfortunately, the question of more Wiis for the Americas is not Reggie's decision alone. Instead, it will be up to head honchos in Japan who will make the call.
