According to Nintendo America president Reggie Fils-Aime, the Nintendo Wii drought the world has been experiencing since the system was released last year is likely to continue through this holiday season.

In an interview with Mercury News, Fils-Aimé says the Wii can't possibly meet demand by the end of the year. He says the shortage has to do with the incredible demand for the product, which production can't keep up with.

So looks like you'll be waiting in line this Christmas for a small supply of the game system that everyone has got to have.

No one is predicting when the shortage will end.
