The company that makes the Nabi line of kid-friendly tablets also offers a subscription-based service called Nabi Pass that lets you access age appropriate apps, games, music, videos, and eBooks for $4.99 per month.

Now the company’s going a step further by launching a $9.99 per month subscription plan that includes all of those things… plus a tablet.

Sign up for Fuhu’s Nabi Pass Tab program and the company will send you a Nabi 2S tablet with a 7 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display, an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 2MP front camera, and a 4350 mAh battery.

I think this is kind of expensive if you don't want to save $100 to buy a tablet, and rather pay $10 a month to rent a tablet.

This could be a good deal if Nabi replaces broken tablets for free since kids sometimes drop, and smash their tablet when they are careless and angry.

It is also nice that subscribers get apps, games, music, videos, and eBooks with their $9.99 a month subscription since apps, games, music, videos, and ebooks can be very expensive when you buy them online from sites like iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon App store.

I would not want to rent a tablet, specially if used by another kid. Who says what happened to it and if it could be full of germs.
I agree I would not want to rent a tablet which was used by another kid because a lot of younger kids don't wash their hands regularly, and touch a lot of dirty stuff. Plus, it would probably be full of downloaded kids games, and movies.
