Resident Evil: Extinction did quite well at the box office this weekend, winning it handily and bringing in a booty of over $24 million. The next closest competitor was Good Luck Chuck, starring Jessica Alba's ass and some dude who can't tell jokes. This brought in $14 million.
One of the cool things is that Superbad is still in the Top 10, in the 8th position. The film, which cost $30 million to make, has brought in over $115 million domestically, and is a massive success, just as producer Judd Apatow's Knocked Up was earlier in the summer.
