Several retailers have pushed back the release date for Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, Konami's remake of the first Silent Hill title.

Both Gamestop and GameFly have moved the planned November release date back a month to December, though neither date appear to be set in stone.

Konami told CVG last night the title is now shipping in February 2010 across Europe.

"It's out in Feb, but has never been officially confirmed as anything else. A few retail sites put a loose November date on it, but we never officially gave it a date until recently," Konami said.

No word yet on what this means for the North American versions.

Meh. I hated this game. But for the people that want it, that sucks. I don't get why developers push back dates. Once they finish, then they should give an exact date. Like God of War III... First November 2008, then January 2009, then March 2009, then March 2010...
