It is a shame that Panasonic no longer can produce Plasma TV since they were one of the best Plasma TV makers in the world.

I guest Plasma Electronic plant closure is what happens when people rather buy lower end LCD, and cheaper TV from China, and other countries which make cheap TVs than quality Plasma TV which has better colors, and darker shades of black.

I wonder if Sony, Hitatchi, or Toshiba TV factories are next to be closed because of the increase in people rather buying cheaper TVs from cheaper brands than premium TVs which has better picture quality.

Wow. What is up with Panasonic? First they stop making phones I never knew existed, and now they are stopping the sale of what I thought to be their flagship product. This is astounding to me.

is Plasma TV better than a LCD tv?

Yes, the black levels and colors are brighter in Plasma. Plasma also do not have stuck pixels where there is a blue or white dot which is always the same color because the LCD is broken. I heard the response times are better for Plasma, so there is no TV lag compared to LCD which can lag if there is a fast moving picture on the screen.
