CPU OMAP 4470 1.5GHz dual-core processor
1GB of RAM
1,280x800-pixel (215 ppi) "HD" display
Google Android 4.0 ICS
1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
8GB ($199.99) and 16GB ($249.99)
It also have switchable backs to change the back color.

This looks like a good ereader Tablet for someone who read eBooks which they bought from Kobo.com , and also like watching video, playing games, and listening to music on their tablet.

It also seems pretty fast as well.

how does it stack up to the kindle I wonder?

The Arc has a slightly faster CPU, and front speakers. It also has full access to the Google Play app store, and uses the default Google Android theme which the Kindle does not have.

The Kindle Fire HD has a slightly slower CPU, and uses the Amazon App store, and customize theme. But, the Kindle Fire has access to Amazon Movie Streaming, Amazon music store, and Kindle eBooks.
