Sean Connery, who has been knighted granting him title of Sir, has passed away today at the age of 90. The BBC reports that the actor passed away in his sleep after a long period of illness at his home surrounded by family in the Bahamas. He was mostly known for his first role of Bond, James Bond.

May he RIP.
 
Dang RIP Indy's dad.
 
It's ashamed news, I thought it be more hyped up about it but it's not. It's not just he's from the very first James bond film but he did so many good files. Red October was a very good film back in the day that I have seen so many times. 90 years old is still a good age and no idea what health problems he had. At least he died in his sleep :)
 
I am really sorry to hear that he passed away.
I haven't seen too many movies but even, I know his name.
 
The best Bond there was.
Also the only man who can rock this look.

"Sir Sean Connery, through his talent and drive, left an indelible mark in cinematic history. His audiences spanned generations, each with favorite roles he played. He will always hold a special place in my heart as Indy’s dad,"

"With an air of intelligent authority and sly sense of comedic mischief, only someone like Sean Connery could render Indiana Jones immediately into boyish regret or relief through a stern fatherly chiding or rejoiceful hug," Lucas added. "I’m thankful for having had the good fortune to have known and worked with him. My thoughts are with his family."

sounds like he had dementia in the last years of his life.
