Rise of co-op

Do you think more games are getting focused on co-op play above singleplayer storylines? I have noticed it rising a fair bit with games like Unity and Far Cry, and as someone who likes to do stories on my own... I am somewhat worried that it will get boring or impossible to do or find games on my own.

co-op has been on the rise, but I don't think single player will ever vanish. What do you do if no one wants to play with you?

I like games that can be played either co-op or single player. Hopefully that stays around.
