Finished this game the other night, I still have to unlock the true ending but I'm going to wait till I find a friend to play with. Starting out solo is pretty hard, but once you get going the game gets more manageable and a bit fun at times.

Anyone here play this? I recommend it.
 
I played this game with a friend. I was planning on soloing it, but there was no way in heck I was going to do that. It was too hard. Even with another person it wasn't that easy. Though, neither of us had really played arcade fighters before this. It's a good game with a good soundtrack. I didn't hate the ending like pretty much every hate comment I've seen online, but I can at least understand why. They even do a good bit with the true ending, again, I won't say anything to avoid spoiling it.


I knew from the minute I heard this song, I was going to love the soundtrack. I really hope they make another River City Girls game.

agreed, the ost is great! Listening to the full track as I type this :p

It was hard at playing it first, but the main thing to keep in mind is not to get pincer attacked and wait for them to finish attacking before going in to bring the pain.

Also, was it me or did the bosses get easier as the game progressed?

I just really liked racking up combos and making the final blow a dab.

Actually, yeah. The final boss was a kind of a joke. The secret boss, however, isn't a joke. The secret boss is actually kinda really hard. In fact, I don't even know how you'd fight the secret boss alone.

like everything else, just dodge and go in for a few smacks.
 
This game does look interesting, I think I might get it someday. Soundtrack is catchy, and is it a sequel to the original River City Ransom games? I remember seeing a couple released on 3DS
