Robot teachers

I know in South Korea, they use robots to teach their kids and I herd on CNN this week that the same thing is being looked at here in the states. Now I got to say, the idea is good but just too wrong.

I want a human to teach my kid when or if I have one, not some heartless robot. your thoughts?

Online/Internet based schools will probably be way cheaper then robot teachers since there are tons of websites with video, text tutorials, games and wikis dedicated to teaching people how to read, write, do math, computer skills, and more. Plus, if you do not know how to do something, you can post in their forum, wiki, E-mail, or instant message a real person for help.

I think schools should upgrade their computers before thinking of using expensive robots since when I was in school a lot of the computers were slow used out dated software or broke down a lot.

I wouldn't like having a robot as a teacher as well since if it malfunctions, it might go on a robot rampage.

that's because kids went to sites that loaded bad data into the PCs.
