As first reported by Rockstar Intel, GTA+ is getting a price hike of $2 USD per month on both Xbox and PlayStation. This means that the service, which initially cost $5.99 each month, now costs $7.99. This price increase will become effective beginning on June 11, 2024. There was no official explanation or comment from Rockstar Games regarding this price hike.
It is unfortunate that Rockstar have to raise the price of GTA+ subscription. But, it is nice that it is only a $2 a month increase , so many people can still afford the subscription.
It doesn't' surprise me at all, I recently had my electric and phone bill go up. The cost of everything keeps rising and me being on a fixed income, means that I can afford less and less which sucks.
