Roku TV does look like a pretty nice TV. I think I still rather just buy a regular TV, and a Google Chromecast or standalone Roku since it will most likely be cheaper.
I think most people don't really want Smart TVs since they already own a game console, chromecast, Roku, and Apple TV which does the same thing. Plus, a lot of less tech savvy people just want a TV for watching TV, or movies when a DVD or Blu-ray player is hooked up to it.
