I seen a few comercials on the Roomba, and there does not seem to be much maintenance except emptying out the dust bin. I feel the battery may eventually break, and you need to buy a new one to replace the broken battery.
I think the Roomba is smart enough to vacuum a whole room, and going back to the charger according to commercials I watch.

When I said maintenance, I was referring to the repair work, froggyboy
I don't think I have enough knowledge to looking into the system . I really wish I know some stuff about electronics too.

I feel the sales person at a store which sell Roomba may have information on repairing the Roomba vacuum.
It is best for Roomba owners to hire a Roomba technician which is properly trained in Roomba repairs because the Roomba looks more complicated than other electronics.

Unfortunately they don't do that service.
I have tried that before and I don't think there is any maintenance center nearby
