The game is slated to come out in 2009. It will be made by Infinity Ward, creators of numbers 1,2, and 4, as opposed to 3 and 5, which are made by Treyarch.

plot: the game is a direct sequel to COD 4. It will once again star Soap McTavish, who in this installment is fighting the Chinese government.

I like the Idea of it not going back to WWII, After COD5 which is in the pacific, everything in WWII will have been done.
