Other Rumor: Fifth Thief Game in the Works?

With a Thief film adaptation set to air, Square Enix is also reportedly working on the fifth game in the series to coincide with the movie release.

Straight Up Films, which acquired the film rights to Thief from Square Enix last year, revealed the news in a post on the company's website describing the production.

"Widely considered to be one of the greatest games ever created, a fifth sequel is currently in development to be released in step with this motion picture adaptation."

Is this really what we have to put up with? The Thief reboot recently was awful in my opinion (and according to many it seems). I'd much rather have Hitman season 2 or Sleeping Dogs 2 than this.

Guess we need more movies to boost related game releases.
