I would recommend the anime and it's a really cool anime with lots of comedy too

Nope. It's from anime called Saiki Kusuo no seinen. I think it's called 'The disastrous life of Saiki Kusuo'. It's a comedy anime
Saitama is a joke character, not really meant to be taken seriously. But for the sake of this let's ignore that.
Personally I think Goku would win provided he has access to his later forms (basically anything pass SSJ2, but especiallySSJ-Blue and Ultra Instinct). In those states he's a literal universe buster. In one episode he was shown squaring off against Beerus and their punches alone were hitting with enough force to threaten the universe. And from that point he grew more powerful. UI allows him to be basically an unstoppable monster. Can't even hit him and he can launch devastating attacks with ease.
So far Saitama has had an easy fight with every opponent. But none of them have been on quite the same scale as Goku. At best they're able to wreck a country. Even supposing that Saitama never struggled at all with them and had power to spare... I still think there is too much of a power disparity. When Saitama fought Boros he had to use his final move (Killer Move: Serious Punch) and it was shown parting Boros's beam attack and blowing the clouds away for miles beyond it. Which is powerful indeed. But Goku powering up alone can do that to greater effect. Like we saw with him just going SSJ3 for the first time.
Boros's attack was stated to be able to destroy the planet. But in the DB universe there are plenty of people who can. Vegeta back in the Saiyan arc was shown destroying a planet. So it's fairly common in DB, but not so much in OPM.
