Samsung Google Chromebook Prototype Coreboot Demo Shows Off Instant On Fast boot time video

Wow, 5 second boot is a very fast startup time in the video where the guy presses the power switch and the laptop enters the desktop in about 5 seconds.

I wonder how long it will take Samsung and Google to make a laptop which can start up in under 1 second.

Pretty soon, pressing the power ON button which takes a second will take longer then a computer to turn on from off mode.

that would mean even with age your still looking at max, a 20 second boot time. very nice.
