Three Galaxy Note 7 owners have filed a class-action lawsuit against Samsung in New Jersey. The lawsuit comes one week after Samsung officially recalled its Note 7 smartphone and ended production worldwide.

The suit isn’t about physical injury or property damage. Instead it alleges “economic injuries” caused by the recall.

Rich McCune, one of the lawyers in this lawsuit told Motherboard:

“Samsung has agreed to recall and reimburse the cost of the device, but their customers have had to continue to pay on their data and voice plans during the time they had to make their device inoperative until they received their replacement device. That is the loss that the case is focused on.”

I wonder if there is a good chance in winning a case for economic injuries. People can always take out their SIM card, and put it back into another cell phone to continue using their data, voice plan, and text.

It was a matter of time before they were dragged into court for it.

Half of this is crap anyway. All about money and how messed up who. They have more money then since
