Saw IV, the next in the series of the horror franchise, won the box office lottery over the weekend, raking in a respectable $32 million. Seems that, once again, people want to see what Jigsaw's gotten himself up to since last we saw him. Of course, last we saw him, we thought he was dead, but it's Saw, so anything's possible.
Also over the weekend, Dan In Real Life did a pretty tidy $12 million worth of business, proving that Steve Carrell can draw people, at least on a medium scale. Not a whole lot else happened in the world of the movie business. Maybe it's because there aren't any good movies out.
