looks like IGN goof a little-

Recently, IGN chatted with Saw producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules regarding the seventh installment in the popular horror franchise, Saw 3D. It was reported yesterday that the movie's official title was Saw 3D The Traps Come Alive, but the producers revealed that's not the case.

"We really wanted people to know that this is Saw 3D," Koules said. "That is the title of the movie: Saw 3D. You know, in all of our other movies we have taglines. So it kind of got mixed up that [The Traps Comes Alive] is part of the title. It's just the tagline that we'll be using throughout our marketing campaign."

Clearing up the confusion, the producers also wanted to assure fans that the 3D treatment of this next film is nothing short of top quality.

"Shooting a movie in 3D is really hard," Koules said. "If you look at the way we shoot our movies, we shoot a lot of them very tight, and with the technology of 3D we couldn't shoot as tight as we wanted to until now. If you think of the way that Saw is shot and cut, it's very tight. It's very in your face, and with these cameras we were able to shoot a Saw movie the way we wanted. This isn't a conversion; this is absolutely done the right way with the right equipment."

When asked about making an appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con in a few weeks, Koules and Burg noted said what they had prepared may not be age appropriate for the convention.

"What we can say is that Saw 3D -- let's call it Saw on Steroids for lack of a better word -- is not family friendly [enough] to be directly a part of Comic-Con. There's nothing we can show directly inside Comic-Con that would be approved for their audience."

But Koules added, "We're going to be a part of the convention. I think we're going to do something a little radical. It's going to be announced soon."

I actually don't like 3D. There's really nothing too special unless you go all out on a movie like Avatar. Horror movies is definitely a no-go for 3D.
