(Younger users may not 'get it' so: On November 22, 1987, during an airing of a Doctor Who rerun on Chicago's WTTW local network, a strange occurrence happened. The signal was interrupted, and footage of an unidentified man wearing a Max Headroom mask appeared. The man was likely drunk or inebriated (Headroom was the spokesperson for Coca-Cola ), as he was moaning a lot, and speaking mostly gibberish. The interruption lasted about a minute and a half, then ended and the signal returned to normal. The incident also occurred on Chicago's WGN News At Nine, but only for a few seconds, and without audio. The culprit remains unidentified to this day.)
