I think it was back on N64, I just rented a random game and the opening scared me so much I shut it off and put it way in its case, even placed more games on top of it lol.

OoT Redeads were a thing

Silent Hill 1, though not scary per se it's more like disturbing lol and I like the game, one of the best survival horror games I played.

Resident Evil is probably the scariest for games.

I think Fable 2 is the scariest game I played because there was a level which takes place in a grave yard with ghosts and monsters.

They are excellent enemies lol even Resident Evil zombies cannot stun you from a distance like them

Omori isn’t necessarily a super scary game, but boy did it eff me up! Does every time I play it… and I play it quite regularly.

I don't think I've played anything real scary.

At one time I wanted to get my hands on Layers of Fear: Legacy for the Nintendo Switch. Now that I'm thinking about it again, I'm thinking of actually getting it. Though don't know if I want to get it for the Switch or the PS4.
