So its getting to be about that time in the states, anyone here going back to school soon or going onto college?
Same here Buddy. I am going to back to college but its just terrible that its not like High school my miss friends here in college I don't know anyone everyone is new and I don't talk that muchI gave up on college after my second semester. I failed one class my first semester and three classes my second. I do really miss high school though... well I miss seeing my friends. I don't exactly miss the work. That's why I don't miss college. I never really talked to anyone.

Yeah, one of the first assignments was a group assignments so that you learn more about each other and the teacher said, "You're going to make a sales pitch to sell a snowblower in Hawaii." So we had a group of four and I had the only idea, which was, "What if a mad scientist were to create a machine that made it winter all around the world." They rolled with it, but said I had to be the one to present it. Of course I got really bad anxiety, but I did it anyway. So this one girl who was in my group just kind of stared at me after that. Like, we had two or three classes and she would just stare. She must've thought I was just the dumbest person lol.Yikes, I failed a class here and there but never that many at a time. Can't blame you for giving up. As for not talking see below.
I know how you both feel, I went into college with no friends at all and it seem like every class I took everyone knew someone and I was odd man out. I somehow managed to talk lightly with a few people due to forced group work or by sitting by them every day but it still wasn't like I was friends. I exited with like a few people I would call friends but I wasn't there exactly to make friendships, get the paper degree and get out.
All I can recommend is just try and be friendly whenever the opportunity arises and you might make some new friends.

I never did find out why. My guess is that she thought I was crazy and was watching to see if I'd do something else just as crazy. Which, I never did.yeah I don't like talking in front of large crowds of people, never got any better as I progressed. Why did she stare at you though? Did you flub the presentation?
Which by the way I'm a bit curious how the teacher liked something that crazy.

Actually the teacher was impressed by imagination. We were supposed to be creative.
