Sea Travel is faster in Wind Waker HD

Since the Wii U is more powerful, it can now load the entire ocean allowing for faster travel.

That's great news; Wind Waker is a great game as it is, but the sailing was definitely tedious at times. I don't know if I will get a Wii U within the next few years, but if I do, this will be a certain addition to my collection.

same, I must have spent a good 5-7 hours just on the sea alone in that game.

That's a good thing for sure lol. I remember playing the game at my friends house and being like, "Dude, look how far we've got to go... let's go get some food and come back later."
This should also really help Cosmo and other WindWaker speedrunners in their World Record attempts.  :lol:

To be honest my most relaxing moment in gaming was a toss up between sitting on the starting islands beach in Wind Waker for a couple hours, enjoying tea and sailing mindlessly for hours in the game. I am glad travel is faster, though, because when I actually wanted to progress in the story I got frustrated and quite lost every time. Glad to hear this change! If only it was coming to mobile gaming...

The only thing that could make this HD port even better would be those cut dungeons that are always talked about in the forums, i would love to see them in the game.
