Capcom is sticking with tradition for the latest entry in the Ryusei no Rockman series (known here as Mega Man Star Force). Joining the recently announced Ryusei no Rockman 3 Black Ace is a second version of the game, Ryusei no Rockman 3 Red Joker. Both versions will launch simultaneously in Japan on November 13.
The announcement of Red Joker was made at the Rockman Summer Festival event in Tokyo on Sunday. Producer Ken Horinouchi took the stage and revealed the game to a cheering crowd.
The terms Red Joker and Black Ace refer to special forms that players can take in the new Star Force game. As you fight, your character builds up "noise." Reach a certain point, and you transform, gaining a new look and some new abilities. Red Joker and Black Ace are the ultimate transformations.
Also announced by Horinouchi was a limited edition bonus item that will be given away with both titles. Perhaps more importantly for Mega Man fans throughout the world, Horinouchi also revealed that Ryo Takamisaki is working on a comic version of Ryusei no Rockman 3, to be run in Coro Coro Comics.
