Yeah which is silly because I'm sure Sonic Racing Crossworlds sold a lot of copies. Sega is expecting too much IMO.

With Shinobi game, the game was cheaply made 2dgame with barebones 2d slides static cutscenes with static character portraits and no character animation during cutscenes. Wasted potential. they should do new full AAA Shinobi game.
Good luck getting a AAA game budget approved after a weaker version flopped.
Sega needs a new boss. Current head honcho only wants to finance big budget Yakuza, Sonic, Virtua Fighter, Alien and Persona games and yet he said he wanted to revive many classic sega IPs but then the new Shinobi, Streets of rage and canceled Golden Axe games they all received abysmal funding and only crazy Taxi the one with good enough funding and Valkyria Chronicles, skies of arcadia, shining force all have been left to rot in the dumps. If he truly wants to revive their classic ips then do so with proper AAA games or at least AA games for many of them classic IPs.
