Hello, everyone.
Seiji Konokama here, showing my musical side to all of you.
FInal Fantasy 9 - Melodies of Life
I used several different synthesizers and drum machine samples in this one:
- Yamaha DX7, which sounds a bit like a Sega Genesis, in the respect that both use the metallic, somewhat nasally FM synthesis technique.
- Linn LM-1, one of the most popular drum machines in the 1980s.
- Roland Vocoder Plus, made famous by Vangelis, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and other artists from the 1970s and 1980s.
- Standard Microsoft GS MIDI
Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals - Peace of Mind (Ending Motif)/To The Future
Equipment used: An IBM Thinkpad from around 1997, running Windows 98 Second Edition.
I hope you enjoy what I have to offer so far, and I will share more remixes with you in the future.
