While 2005's film adaptation of Doom was neither a critical nor commercial success, that isn't stopping the game's developer from calling for a sequel.
Speaking to Kotaku, id Software CEO Todd Hollenshead said, "Personally I'd like to do another Doom movie -- I thought working with it was a blast. There are some lessons we learned. The best way to do things better is to get the experience."
Universal currently owns the film rights to the game, but Hollenshead believes that the forthcoming Doom 4 game will help inspire a sequel.
