I have never played this game. I have enjoyed watching Tomb Raider movies, therefore, I think I will also enjoy this game. I like action adventure games.

The game is coming along nicely. The new skills and underwater gameplay brings some of the old Tomb Raider feeling back.

wow, that's right it is about to come out.

Crept up on me this. I want to play it eventually. Reviews seem to suggest it's the least polished of the new trilogy, which I expected given its a new developer working on the series. But they say the story is very good, the world is very good, there is a stronger Lara in terms of combat, but there is less combat overall and more focus on exploration. That ticks all the boxes for me, I've liked the other two games in the trilogy and I expect I'll like this too.
