A game by NintenDan that will hopefully be finished in the future
Plot:
After a long day of pranks, the Shenanigan Guy team arrive home to settle down for the night when they notice a letter pinned to the front door of their house. Shy Guy reads the letter, and is surprised to see it is a message requesting the group's help. The team follow the instructions on the note to get more details about their task. They arrive at the rendezvous point, only to be attacked by the most peculiar beings that emerge from some kind of rip in time and space! Goom, Ooby, Bob and Chomp are all flung far away by the beams of light that rain down upon them from the strange purple void in the sky, with Shy Guy managing to dodge them all. Without thinking, Shy Guy lashes out at the creatures, only to be dodged and find himself accidentally jumping right into the wormhole!
Shy Guy comes to his senses to find himself locked in a dark and dank prison cell. He looks out the window and sees a strange world of tall skyscrapers, with a bright, yellowish green sky moving at fast speeds. A little yellow sphere squeezes through the bars of the windows and startles Shy Guy. The two talk for a bit, with the sphere introducing himself as 'X'. X asks if Shy Guy is THE Shy Guy from Shenanigan Guy, and states how much of a fan he is. A strange noise is heard emerging from down the hallway, and X vanishes outside the window again. Two green versions of X that are much larger yell at Shy Guy, telling him to keep quiet. As they grunt and hover away, X floats back in, and decides to help Shy Guy out. Using his own special powers (that are still under development), X teleports the pair back to the Shenanigan Guy house.
Shy Guy explains to X how they were attacked by people who looked like him. X has a bad feeling about everything, and agrees to help Shy Guy out. X tells Shy Guy that the people who attacked him were, without a doubt, part of the alien civilization that he himself comes from. X says he didn't know they were harming the beings on Earth and feels terrible to see his own idol get harmed in the process. With Shy Guy, X declares that he will fight against his own to stand for what he believes in.
Shy Guy says all four of his friends were knocked away in the blast. X happily chirps up, saying he can help find them. Using his powers, X uses one item of each of the four members to determine their locations. He then uses this information to create a map, which he accidentally embeds in the sole of Shy Guy's shoe (he's still getting the hang of his powers!). Now Shy Guy and his new friend set out to find the rest of the Shenanigan Guy team, as well as getting to the bottom of this close encounter!

Yes, the name of my game has been decided. I shall be calling it "Shenanigan Guy: Antics Ahoy!", and I even made an adorable little logo for it that you are looking at above.
I will probably release the main storyline here to give you a bit of an overview on what the game will be, but one thing's for certain: Yes, I enjoy it when people give suggestions to make this game as good as it possibly can be, but unfortunately, I can't keep on adding things. There will be a point when I will have finished brain storming, and I won't be making complete overhauls or brand new additions. This is why I want to keep development to a select few.
I don't need that much help when it comes to actually making the game (solo project will be easier to manage anyway, but hey, if anybody is good with ActionScript, just tell me). I might need the odd story writer/checker however. I'll work out who's doing what at a later date, but keep in mind I can't just be hiring EVERYBODY for testing, either.
This topic is kinda just to tell everybody that I'll be making it, and if I need to update anything publicly, I'll do it here. I'll also request help if I need it, and other crap. Maybe even the odd demo, who knows.
For those that are curious or don't know, this project will be a bit of a movie/game in a way. I'll probably toss in a few animations and sections of dialogue alongside a whole bunch of "mini-games" if you want to call them that. Some mini-games will be recurring, others will just be one-off. I hope you will have the patience to wait for this to be made, because it isn't going to be something I can knock over in a week, nor do I want to do that. I want to dedicate a lot of effort to it to make it awesome for everybody to enjoy. Until now, wish me luck!
