This is an anime related to vampires.The story revolves around a town "Sotoba" which is surrounded by mountains.The plot is short but good.A series of mysterious deaths begin to spread in the village, at the same time a strange family moves into the long abandoned Kanemasa mansion.It was suspected to be an epidemic.But later it is revealed that ,those are the work of "shiki".It is sad to watch the entire village fall in the hands of Shiki.Some people survive in the end though.

How did they survive?What happened to the village? What triggered shiki?Watch shiki anime to find the answers to those questions

Well...this anime is a bit weird..it deals with the lives of vampires too.It's difficult to...comprehend ...in a way

It was an odd one to say the least. I wasn't a big fan of the way it ended, and it felt like there should have been more. By the end the surviving characters were just like, "Huh. Well that just happened. Ok. Then." I guess you really couldn't expect more from them. The whole show was depressing though still intriguing in its own way.

Well,for the very first time,I felt pity for monsters(well..zombies to be exact) .It shows what the zombies had to go through,just to survive.

There were only a few I felt truly sorry for, but as a whole, yeah, their situation was unfortunate. Masao was kind of annoying so I don't feel any pity for him. Megumi was kind of annoying too, but I felt more sympathy for her especially towards the end. I still didn't like her character for many reasons, not just her personality.

The show ended up making humans equal to monsters. Both sides had their faults, and upsides. There was a balance that made it work in a way. I was actually able to feel for both sides.

I remember watching the first episode and finding it odd I intended to watch more, but for some reason I think I lost interest or probably forgot about it.

You should pick this anime again.It can be pretty sad and good at the same time.
