Read from CBR:
Fans in Japan will soon get to experience a unique Godzilla, Evangelion, Ultraman and Kamen Rider crossover first hand.
The Shin Japan Heroes Universe, the special collaboration project between the four anime and tokusatsu (masked hero) franchises that have been worked on by Evangelion creator and Shin Godzilla co-director Hideakia Anno, announced on its website that it will open mini theme parks within three Bandai Namco Store locations within Japan. The crossover attraction, which will be known as Shin Japan Heroes Amusement World, will feature interactive exhibits, games and "VR experiences" that feature characters from all four series interacting with each other for the first time ever.
Shin Japan Heroes Amusement World's main attraction will be "Operation Shin 765," a live role-playing experience that casts guests as special agents who are tasked with protecting Japan from a combined attack force that includes the Angels from Neon Genesis Evangelion, a Kaiju from the Ultraman series, Shocker troops from Kamen Rider, and of course, the King of the Monsters himself, Godzilla. The mini theme park will also feature two virtual reality kiosks, the first of which will allow fans to finally "get in the robot" and pilot Eva Unit 01 themselves, while the second allows players to control an attack helicopter that is tasked with stopping one of Godzilla's city-flattening rampages.
