Atlus today announced that Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker—an expanded version of the 2011 Nintendo DS RPG—will be released in North America in early 2015.
Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker includes fully voiced English dialogue and enhances the content of the original Devil Survivor 2. Picking up after the final day of DS2, the new plot nearly doubles DS2's story, and enhances gameplay with new abilities and more enemies. A new character, Miyako Hotsuin, will also be introduced to the series. Players will have the choice to skip to the new content or play through the original storyline.
Devil Survivor 2 is set in Japan where demons threaten the future of humanity. The protagonist must use a mysterious website with the ability to predict deaths in order to save the city. The game features the series' strategic combat and fusing demons mechanic, as well as multiple endings.
DS2 Record Breaker will be released exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS and will be available at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for $49.99 in early 2015.
