So I've been playing my Nintendo Switch quite a bit, which is great but I do want a more powerful handheld and I heard that the Steam Deck is pretty good. However, I never used Steam before, and therefore would have to rebuild my gaming library viva Steam. With that in mind, is a Steam Deck worth it for me or should I wait for a Nintendo Switch 2?

Wait for Switch 2 and Steam Deck 2 first then decide, I'd say. though Switch 2 should be revealed first and Steam Deck 2 still a long way off. In terms of price, Switch 2 should be a lot cheaper than Steam Deck 2.

Steam deck won't be getting Nintendo's many excellent exclusive 3d gaming Waifu PLOTs anytime soon officially though, unless you do emulators lol, or unless switch 2 bombs and Nintendo decides to port Fire Emblem and other excellent Nintendo exclusive waifu PLOTs to Steam PC lol

The Steam Deck is definitely a great option for an intriguing handheld gaming experience. Also, there are many popular titles available as well.

I feel the Steam Deck may not be the best choice if you plan on storing a lot of big file size games on the Steamdeck. The Steamdeck only have 512 GB or 1TB of storage depending on which model you buy. 512GB to 1TB may not be enough space to store many games, and media files like video files.

The Steamdeck could be good if you don't plan on using it to store a lot of big games, and video files.

If you're the type that is so eager to explore the PC gaming, the Steam Deck can be the best option because it offers impressive specs and flexibility.

512gb and 1tb are the standard for most consoles and pcs. I don't know of a single console that allows more than 1 tb of storage.

You mean as a base? I know PS5 can be upgraded to more internally, not sure of Xbox.
I have a memory expansion for Xbox, so I guess you can increase both systems to higher data bases. What I meant to say was that 512gb and 1tb are standard.

2 TB really should be standard for consoles these days, specially with big AAA games being huge storage hogs.
