I mean really, I need LOTS of coins to unlock a lot of stuff and I don't have the time to take my 3ds around with me anymore. And when I do I max out the daily coins total in just a few mins, the rest of the steps are just wasted.
I think it's to prevent people from just shaking it to get unlimited coins, but I see your point. I too get frustrated...I put it in my pocket when I go on a walk, and when I get back there's like 10000 steps on it, but only the first 1000 give me anything...the rest are wasted.
I didn't even know there was a limit. Though I can see why that's annoying. I mean I walk around my house with my 3DS in my pocket to get coins, but I usually get like 6 and then I stop.
Yes they definitely should. As it is at present, it's a pain the ass to collect play coins when on a long walk or hike because you have to keep stopping to change the date. Whereas if they just counted all the steps anyway, it'd work perfectly and be much more conveniant.
i would like this as i always put it in my pocket when i go to school and i come home with about 2500 steps average.
play coins are a bother.... swapnote, puzzle swap, streetpass quest, the mario and sonic card album thing, and everything else.
also, if the limit were to be removed, it could be used on the eshop as well to download certain titles( or exchanged for currency, but that is unlikely)
Well, it can be considered that you have a maximum of 300 play coins so it would make sense to limit 10 per day (and override by changing the date), you could raise the max amount to 99999 (or however many step you can have before maxing out) play coins and have no limit to the amount per day. Maybe they might feature this in an update or we can research their website for a 3DS feature request form or message board or such and ask for it there.
