Should Smash Bros 4 have more third party characters?

Personally I don't mind if it does end up getting more of them. Some people seem to hate the idea of non Nintendo characters being playable, but is Smash Bros really 'made' purely for Nintendo characters? I always thought of Smash Bros as just a crossover where fan loved characters beat each other up, nothing purely Nintendo about it.

As for characters from other media, I wouldn't really mind that either. Yes it's unlikely due to licensing rights, but come on, everyone has to admit the popularity of an 'everyone vs everyone' fighting game would be massive, right? Just look at Mugen...

What do you think of third party characters in Smash Bros 4?

I really don't want to see very many third-party characters. Closely related characters, like sonic or megaman would be cool, but characters like SNAKE would be awful.

I wouldn't mind third party characters. I look forward to badass video game anime characters.

I don't mind them as long as they don't replace the first party ones.
